COOKIE POLICY

Last updated July 3, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how and why we use cookies and similar technologies on Jettova's Services. Please read it carefully so you understand your choices.

1. About This Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Jettova, Inc. ("Jettova," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our websites, mobile applications, and other online services (collectively, the "Services"). It describes what these technologies are, why we use them, and your choices regarding their use. This Cookie Policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognize your device and store information about your preferences or actions.

We also use similar technologies such as web beacons (small graphic images), pixels, local storage, and software development kits (SDKs) within our mobile apps. For simplicity, this policy refers to all of these as "cookies."

Cookies set by Jettova are called "first-party cookies." Cookies set by third parties (such as analytics or advertising providers) are called "third-party cookies."

3. Categories of Cookies We Use

CategoryPurposeDurationProvider(s)
Strictly NecessaryKeep you signed in (Supabase authentication session cookies, e.g. sb-…-auth-token) and maintain core site state.Session / up to 1 yearJettova, Supabase
FunctionalRemember an anonymous device ID (jettova_device_id) for unsaved trip drafts and group-room membership, and remember your tracking opt-out preference. Stored in your browser's local storage.Persistent (until you clear site data)Jettova
AttributionFirst-touch source attribution via the jettova_visitor_id cookie (which partner, link, or channel sent you to Jettova) so we can credit referral partners. Referrals are credited within a 30-day attribution window.Up to 2 yearsJettova
Affiliate Booking PartnersWhen you tap through to a booking partner (Kayak, Expedia, Booking.com, Agoda, Viator, GetYourGuide, Airalo, etc.), they may set cookies on their own domain to record that you arrived via Jettova and credit a commission. Those cookies are governed by their privacy policies.Varies (set by partner)Kayak, Expedia, Booking.com, Agoda, Viator, GetYourGuide, Airalo, Rentalcars, Travelpayouts, Ekta

4. Third-Party Cookies

When you click through to one of our affiliate booking partners (Kayak, Expedia, Booking.com, Agoda, Viator, GetYourGuide, Airalo, Rentalcars, Travelpayouts, Ekta, and similar providers) those partners may set their own cookies on your device to track the referral and credit Jettova a commission. They may also set cookies for their own analytics, fraud prevention, or advertising purposes. We do not control these cookies and they are governed by each partner's privacy policy.

For our own product analytics we rely on first-party measurement only (see the Functional and Attribution rows above). We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or other third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on the Services. If that changes, we'll update this policy.

5. Your Choices and How to Manage Cookies

You have several ways to control or limit how cookies are used:

  • Browser controls: Most browsers let you view, manage, delete, and block cookies through their settings. Blocking the Strictly Necessary category will sign you out and break trip drafts; the other categories are safe to block.
  • First-party analytics opt-out:Jettova team members with an admin account can toggle "exclude my activity from analytics" from the Admin settings panel — this writes a local opt-out flag that suppresses our own first-party tracking on that device.
  • Affiliate-partner opt-out:Each partner has its own opt-out mechanism — see the partner's privacy or cookie policy for details.
  • Device settings: On mobile devices, you can reset your advertising identifier or limit ad tracking in your device settings (this affects partner cookies, not Jettova first-party ones).
  • Do Not Track: The Services do not currently respond to Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals.

6. Cookies and Personal Data

Some cookies may collect information that can identify you, such as your IP address or device identifiers. Where this is the case, our use is governed by our Privacy Policy. Users in the EEA, UK, or California may have additional rights regarding the processing of their personal data.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The most current version will always be posted with an updated "Last Updated" date.
