Our Story

Trip planning is broken. We're fixing it.

Most travel sites are aggregators — a list of flights and hotels, with the actual planning left to you. The hard part was never finding a flight; it's deciding where to go, what to do each day, and how it all fits your budget as a coherent trip.

Jettova was built around one question: what if planning felt like talking to a friend who's been everywhere? Tell us your vibe and budget; we surface destinations that fit and build the trip out with you, one day at a time — real activities, real meals, real prices.

And group trips are the worst version of the problem — one person does all the work, and the bill lands on whoever has the most patience. Planning rooms fix it: everyone votes, the room shows live consensus, one person drives the day-by-day, and each member books their own flight. No shared invoices, no 47-message group chat.

How It Works

Three steps to your perfect trip

01

Start from anything

A mood + budget, a TikTok or YouTube link, or a group room — solo or group, every entry converges in the same builder.

02

Build it day by day, together

Storyboard each day with the AI — real activities and meals, swap what you don't love, add bookable Viator picks. In rooms, everyone watches live and vetoes.

03

Book + settle in one place

Each person books their own flight at live partner prices. After the trip, snap receipts and split costs Splitwise-style.

Why Jettova

Built for real travelers

AI-powered planning

Tell us a vibe and budget — the AI builds a real day-by-day itinerary (flights, hotels, activities) around a destination matched to you.

Plan with friends, one room

Vote on vibes, budget, and where to go; build the days together with live veto; each book your own seat. The whole group trip, minus the group chat.

Find a date everyone can make

Everyone taps the days they're free; the room locks the overlap and flows it straight into the trip. No when2meet, no “can everyone do the 14th?”

Multi-city routes

Lisbon then Porto, Tokyo then Kyoto — set the nights per city and Jettova plans each leg and the hops between them.

Split the bill, Splitwise-style

Snap a receipt; the AI reads it; the trip settles who owes whom in the fewest transfers. Export to Splitwise in a tap.

Save for it, get trip-ready

Every trip gets a savings goal set from its estimated cost, plus a booking checklist so nothing slips before you fly.

Plan from a TikTok or YouTube video

Paste a travel video — we watch it, identify the destination, and draft a real 7-day plan with named venues and a booking row, ready to save.

A Travel Passport that fills in

Rate a trip and it stamps a rotating 3D globe of everywhere you've been, with a tier that climbs by countries and badges for how you travel.

Group Planning

Plan as a group, not a committee

Everyone votes on vibes, budget, and destination; the room shows live consensus; one person drives the itinerary while the rest watch and veto in real time. When the trip ends, snap a receipt and we split it across the right people.

How bookings work

We plan. Partners handle the rest.

Jettova doesn't process bookings or take payment. When you're ready, the planner opens the partner's checkout — Expedia for flights/hotels, Viator for activities, Airalo for eSIMs, getrentacar for cars, Ekta for insurance. You book on their site; we never see your payment details. Cancellations are partner-side too, using the reference on their confirmation email.

Zero platform fees, no markup. You pay the partner their listed price. Jettova earns an affiliate commission from the partner — at no extra cost to you.

Every booking is independent. Cancelling a flight doesn't touch your hotel; your itinerary stays in your account. In group rooms each member's bookings are their own, so one person dropping out doesn't cascade.

FAQ

Common questions

Is Jettova free to use?

Yes — planning a trip is completely free. You only pay when you book flights, hotels, or activities through our partner links, at the partner's own price.

How does the budget work?

Your total budget covers everything — flights, hotels, food, activities, transport — and the AI allocates across each category for the most value. After the trip, scanned receipts roll into the same categories so you see the estimate next to your actual spend.

Can I change my itinerary after it's generated?

Yes — every itinerary is editable. Swap any activity or meal (we propose a new option in the same vibe), regenerate a whole day, or pull in a real bookable Viator activity. In group rooms, any member can veto an activity and the builder swaps it in place.

Where does the pricing come from?

Flights + hotels via Expedia Group, activities via Viator, cars via Travelpayouts/getrentacar, eSIMs via Airalo, insurance via Ekta. Each partner sets the price — Jettova adds no markup and you check out on their site.

How does Jettova pick a destination?

If you don't have one in mind, the AI matches your budget, dates, and vibe to the best-fit city — or surfaces a few candidates to choose from. You can also just name a destination and we'll plan around it.

Do I need an account?

You can plan without one. A free account lets you save itineraries and open them from any device.

Can I plan a trip with a group?

Yes — that's the heart of it. Create a planning room, share the link, and everyone votes on vibes, budget, and destination. Lock a date everyone can make with a when2meet-style poll, build the day-by-day together, then each person books their own flight from their own city. After the trip, snap receipts and the room splits costs in the fewest transfers.

How does booking work in a group?

Each member books their own ticket. Once the trip is set, everyone gets a booking panel that asks their departure city + dates and runs a fresh single-passenger search — own confirmation, own home airport, no shared invoices or chasing reimbursements.

Can I cancel a booking made through Jettova?

Yes — but on the partner's site, not ours. Each partner emails a confirmation with their cancellation policy; you manage it through them with that reference. Jettova charges no fees and never sees your payment details, so there's nothing to refund on our side.

What data do you store?

Just what's needed to plan + save trips: your email, the trip requests you submit, saved itineraries, and the structured fields extracted from receipts (merchant, total, currency, line items). Receipt images are never stored. All bookings + payments happen on partner sites under their terms. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Does the iOS app have the same features?

Yes — the app has the full Plan funnel, Rooms for group planning with live consensus, a Trips tab, push notifications, and book-on-web handoffs. The plan-from-video flow currently lives on the web at /plan-from-tiktok.

Can I plan a trip from a TikTok or YouTube video?

Yes. Paste the link at /plan-from-tiktok — we sample frames across the video, read the caption, identify the destination, and draft a 7-day day-by-day plan with named venues, a per-person budget, and a booking row. Save it to your Trips, then publish to Discover so others can clone it.
